    Forgettable, except for Clara.

  4. Caillouquiroule's rating of the film Railroaded!

  5. Jean-Go's rating of the film Railroaded!

  6. azoulay's rating of the film Railroaded!

  7. Daniel S.'s rating of the film Railroaded!

In my opinion, not as good as Desperate or Strange Impersonation shot in 1946 - 1947. I liked though the voyeuristic scene of the fight between the two girls and John Ireland as the bad guy. Already forgotten.

Pretty good programmer from Anthony Mann following a determined detective trying to find out if the suspect he has arrested is guilty of murdering a cop or is being framed, complicated by his falling for the suspect's sister. Hurt by pretty bland lead performances save Randolph who makes a sexy femme fatale. Hard to watch Beaumont without making 'Leave it to Beaver' references.

  9. ArmandS's rating of the film Railroaded!

Pretty slight and not as impressive or gritty as Mann's great noirs such as "Border Incident", "T-Men" or "Raw Deal", but still worth a viewing, and John Ireland is great, though Hugh Beaumont is no Dennis O'Keefe. Also, Jane Randolph impresses as Ireland's girl.

  10. Weston Campbell's rating of the film Railroaded!

Doesn't hold a lot of surprises, but shouldn't disappoint fans of the genre.

  11. Philip Conklin's rating of the film Railroaded!

Mann’s lighting and mise en scéne are brilliant and eerie. He’s a master of this type of film, an exploration of the murky, shadowy underbelly of civilized society. This is a tense, brisk little picture that I can’t imagine being any longer or shorter. It’s a perfectly contained capsule of film noir. http://www.theperipherymag.com/filmgoing-in-the-internet-age

  12. Nick Gaetano's rating of the film Railroaded!

    corny yes but it's shot well_good b&w

  13. El Biffo's rating of the film Railroaded!

This is the kind of film that gave B-movies a good name. Solid entertainment value on a budget means no fancy Hollywood shots to drag it out any longer than it needs to be. Jane Randolph is almost like a pre-John Waters prototype, really trashy. I can see how films like this inspired film makers of the 60's and 70's. The perfect film to bring a date to, and sneak in a bottle, while yer at it!

  14. AKFilmFan's rating of the film Railroaded!

A mediocre film noir in every aspect. You'd expect more from an Anthony Mann film.
