World of speech is full of illusion that can bring you into total illusion. That was effectively portrayed in this experimental film that the director attempted to direct viewers attention to the nature of complete illusion that you falsely believe there is person speaking there.

Antifoundational, a reminder that cinema has been a visual hegemony for far too long. We want to hear! Let's listen! interject the characters. Sometimes the aural results are cacophonous and disruptive, sometimes complementary if not central. Sound makes itself heard, indeed, its potential of polyphony and polyvalence as in synthetic collage. Verbal play and (incidental) music for once take precedence.

An intriguing experimental film, some kind of “Finnegans Wake” of cinema that distorts and reinvents language while at the same time demanding a constant distrust in the convergence of image and sound. Well worth checking out, but: Abandon all viewing habits, all ye who enter here!
