Filmed live during two concerts at Madison Square Garden, this stand-up comedy classic showcases Eddie Murphy in a series of uproarious celebrity impressions, observations about the 1980s, remembrances of his childhood and much more.

Too much anger and rage from Eddie at this point. He was still a rock star standup, but his hatred toward women and homosexuals boils over and poisens the fun of this concert film. He remained a brilliant mimic and raconteur, but his anger and recrimination only serve to undermine his comedy. This film remains an interesting artifact of a bygone era where Eddie could spew hatred and bile for maximum profit.
