Ratings & Reviews

  1. João R's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

Let's hope nobody has the audacity to actually try and use that cliffhanger as a premise to another entry in this franchise...

  2. Ricardo Branco's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

  3. Gonçalo Rosas's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

2 - For all the bad things you can say about "[REC] 3" (and there is plenty to say), the least you can do is give it a smiley sticker for trying to be something different. "[REC] 4", on the other hand, is a Z-grade Spanish "Resident Evil" knockoff whose undisputed highlight is a scene in which a zombie monkey gets killed with a skillet.

  4. Belmiro Ribeiro's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

  5. HKFanatic's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

The [REC] series ends with a whimper. While Part 3 was criticized for going the horror/comedy route, "Apocalypse" devolves into run-of-the-mill zombie movie fare. The demonic angle that made the first installment so unique is dropped, while the filmmakers indulge many of the worst tendencies of the 'chaos cinema' style. This is the first [REC] that is indistinguishable from any of Hollywood's "Resident Evil" films.

  6. Violins By Night's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

What an awful, lazy and boring close to a fantastic and thrilling 1 and 2.

  7. MATTEO BITTANTI's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

Diminishing returns. The real horror is how Balaguerò killed [REC] with a series of unnecessary sequels. Please spare us.

  8. richardlawrn's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

  9. Alcock Hitchfred's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

  10. Stephane Tanaka's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

2+ . Once you accepted/digested the rape of the franchise with the awful 3rd, you can find this one pretty enjoyable on some levels, for classical 80's horror it refers to.

  11. Ostermyers's rating of the film [REC] 4: Apocalypse

What a Disappointment ! On so many levels...
