Artificial matter meets nature; a ruin transformed into architecture in the crucial point of ambient-fusing. A building being shaped by incompleteness without the romantic itch, but restoring an open structure theory leading to freedom. Moura rejects utility and the urbanistic development mendacity with the feral aura of vestige. Defying fate is to disrupt pragmatic coordinates instituting the debris aesthetic.
A beautifully shot meditation on architecture and the imaginative repossession of ruins (a High-Romantic notion despite all the red-herring potshots at "romantic ruins" taken in the film) as expressing the essence of art: creativity under constraints (here the ones imposed by the natural order of temporality)
