Ratings & Reviews

  1. Richmond Hill's rating of the film Robin Redbreast

Plumbing a rich seam in British folklore, this is a taut and neatly crafted thriller that taps the unease created by the British landscape (caught more spectacularly in Witchfinder General and The Wicker Man). Cropper makes a resourceful and convincing heroine. Oddly the mislaid colour print - now only in a telecine black & white version - is a mishap in its favour adding an other worldliness to the proceedings.

  2. El Biffo's rating of the film Robin Redbreast

A creepy little drama. Half a marble.
