  1. marco's rating of the film Robinson in Space

  2. Karthik's rating of the film Robinson in Space

Deadpan gallows humor (the voiceover counterpointing the aesthetics of Conservative culture-hero Burke "whatever is in any sort terrible, says Burke, is a source of the sublime" with pop music, listless sheep in a ruined estate & clusters of dish antennae), melacholic rage & an ethical insistence on seeing the structure of the visible truly ("The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible")

  3. Kenji's rating of the film Robinson in Space

Welcome to England, a country that lost its soul to corporate greed.

  4. Richmond Hill's rating of the film Robinson in Space

An unexpected collision of Peter Greenaway and Edward Lear. More austere 'state of the nation' observations wrapped up in a delightfully meandering nonsense-narrative. As before [in London] it leaves you in a quiet rage about the commercialisation of the sprawling urban landscape.
