Synopsis

In an impoverished Belgian housing project, Rosie is a bright 13-year-old whose young mother Irene pretends to be her elder sister and forbids her the word “mom”. Rosie creates a bright and imaginative alternative reality, but when fantasy goes too far, tragedy ensues.
