Critics reviews

It’s a glaringly flawed film, and the least interesting film from Kitano by a considerable margin, but it’s very funny and won over its festival audience in its ideal later spot in the program schedule. The performers are all completely committed to the insanity, and set-pieces such as the henchmen deciding their leader by trying to upsell their own criminal histories to a point system are examples of ensemble comedy done right.
