Ratings & Reviews

1.'s rating of the film Sacred Art of Tibet

Comes dangerously close to hippie hokum in the opening moments, but y'know, it never is that. Instead it stays respectful of its subject and engaged with the textures and symbolism of Tibetan art. It's articulate and informative (without begging for a fuller exploration), visually experimental yet grounded in recurring rhythms, and done in less than 30 minutes. Not bad, not bad.

  2. msmichel's rating of the film Sacred Art of Tibet

Jordan's animated take on Tibetan art, religion and folklore by examining the various buddhas and artifacts and their meaning in tibetan culture. Interesting.
