Amazingly, the "Saw" series returns from its worst entry with its second-best. After five films of eating its own tail, the series has the balls to go topical (Jigsaw's whole plan was set in motion because of the American health care system!?) and finally inject a little humor into the proceedings.
Saw has to be one of the stupidest series of films i have ever been forced to watch at parties and informal social gatherings. Just my personal opinion here..Stop the hurt..do not make others watch this crap unless they really want to. i don't force people at gatherings to watch my stupid 70's quasi porn art films..don't make me watch your crap.
My personal favourite Saw film after the first. Saw decided to get political, they cast a pretty good Canadian actor, and this one had great traps all around. Definitely the most interesting use of Tobin Bell after his character's death in Saw III.
After doctors, photographers, lawyers, cops, junkies & many others, it looks like they've found new people to mutilate. A slimy executive from a health insurance company gets the Jigsaw treatment this time, but while there's plenty of gore in Saw VI, the movie doesn't make much sense.
Arguably the best in the series, SAW VI is Michael Moore's Sicko hosted by Jigsaw. Some brilliant acting from Tobin Bell with highly topical and clever dialogue. It takes the story and makes it more a part of the overall series, with cameos and reveals that people waited 3 years to see that completely change the way you look at the 3rd film's ending. The ending left u excited for an epic conclusion, unfortunately...
