whilst perhaps not a 'cinematic' masterpiece per se, this documentary tells incredibly important and touching stories. It exposes the realities faced by women in Lebanon, specifically those imprisoned, whilst also showing beautifully the powerful effect that drama therapy projects can have.
A touching documentary relating the experiences and stories of female inmates of the Baabda prison in Lebanon. A must watch if you are interested in human rights and theatre, in they way they can work together and implement each other. The account of this successful project of drama therapy is an inspiring story of how art and reality are closely entagled. Recommended.
