  1. paul_quixote's rating of the film Selma, Lord, Selma

I liked the sets/locations, looked like places in a small town. DuVernay's film is a comic book in comparison. Burnett is so good at visual storytelling, you could watch this on a muted TV that's in in the corner of a restaurant and still follow. Bloody Sunday incident is filmed in a way that captures the slow chaos of human motion. My ding: portrayals of various ideological relationships to the movement fall flat.
