Ratings & Reviews

  1. Sara Delshad's rating of the film Série noire

  2. Wee Hunk's rating of the film Série noire

While the manic energy of Dewaere is admirable, it quickly becomes tedious.

  3. En Sangers Bøn's rating of the film Série noire

A really desperate but touching film noir with a visceral and epileptical Dewaere. A testimony about how absurd this world is or can be with a touch of black humor. Among 70s French classics.

  4. Bilouaustria's rating of the film Série noire

  5. Ronja's rating of the film Série noire

Sarunas Bartas with french temperament. Amazing settings!

  6. sekmadieniaislyja's rating of the film Série noire

Brilliant opening scene. And I absolutely fell in love with this hysteric man with neurotic mind

  7. Hammer.K's rating of the film Série noire

mieux que le livre (des cliques et des cloaques). Dewaere est incroyable en pauvre type tournant mal.

  8. Martin's rating of the film Série noire

  9. paddy's rating of the film Série noire

and the Oscar for best opening scene goes to...

  10. Martin Wilson's rating of the film Série noire

The soul-deep intensity of PATRICK DEWAERE takes this film to a much higher level than if another actor had been cast. There is a rawness, a naked quality to this man that makes you wonder - is he the best French actor of his generation? Watching Sautet's A BAD SON recently, just strengthened this feeling. The eyes alone, express so much. With his emotive-explosive sensitivity he would have been huge in silent films.

  11. Hikaru's rating of the film Série noire

The chilling uses of sappy pop songs were memorable. In fact, many things about this movie were 'chilling'.

  12. Ally the Manic Listmaker's rating of the film Série noire

Gosh I love Marie Trintignant in her step-father's film!

  13. VENIMOS LOS JODIMOS Y NOS FUIMOS's rating of the film Série noire
