Spoilers, if you care: Vincent Price plays an unfunny, charmless and misogynist plank of wood. Constance Bennett inexplicably falls head over heels for him within two minutes. It's not the only screwball comedy with questionable attitudes to gender roles, but this has to be the worst - the "happy ending" sees Bennett demoted from successful business leader to housewife. Two stars only because Mischa Auer is in it.
