Ratings & Reviews

  1. Pymo's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

Je te tue, moi non plus!

  2. film_lies101's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

Beautifully shot, but the story dragged. Ortolani's score sounded run of the mill. There are enough oddball elements to keep it somewhat amusing/entertaining

  3. English Dodo's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

A gothic giallo set in a great castle setting with secret passages and spooky graveyards. The film is quite interesting visually but it doesn't manage to build up quite enough suspense. Unusually low on gore and nudity (not necessarily a bad thing) and the film's final twist seems less interesting than the colourful lamp held by the killer in the final scene.

  4. Scorpio Velvet's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

Fine chilling & gothic giallo in (sort of) classic tradition without being too over-the-top sometimes, but why add in a gorilla? Ortolani's score - my god, sounded little uncomortable yet fits in the suspense pretty well.

  5. Raymond Likes Subtitles's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

Not Jane Birkin'a finest hour but it's pretty amusing to see Serge Gainsbourg turn up as a British police man.

  6. JFPISSIAS's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

This film has been forgotten ...The casting is great but Dario Argento was already on top of the Giallos!

  7. rllr's rating of the film Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye

So much style it hardly needs substance! Jane Birkin fills the screen!
