Marshall Brickman United States, 1980

Daniel S.'s rating of the film Simon

**1/2. Marshall Brickman co-wrote four Woody Allen movies from 1973 to 1993. And it's fair to say that 'Simon' looks a lot like a Woody Allen film. Brickman speaks ironically about American society's flaws, religious gurus, the way we are manipulated by invisible pseudo scientists (by extension, web geniuses nowadays) and muzak in the elevators. I had a large smile during the whole film. Almost already forgotten now.
