Our take

No one could ever complain that Guy Maddin’s riotous six minute short doesn’t deliver on the promise of its title. An astonishing feat of editing, Sissy Boy Slap Party fuses Three Stooges silliness with the fever-dream milieu of Kenneth Anger—it’s not hard to see why John Waters is a superfan.
