Ratings & Reviews

  1. Adam Whybray's rating of the film Small Deaths

This is a political film which carefully questions whether there is a meaningful difference between callousness and cruelty. It borders on being too subtle, but the triptych taken as a whole helps the inarticulateness be articulated. As ever with Ramsay, the sound design is remarkably immersive. Trevor Powell does good work here.

  2. MistaRichard's rating of the film Small Deaths

A glimpse into three separate events in a young woman's life. Even with such a such a simple premise, Ramsay can still jolt you into thinking about "what it all means".

  3. mad.lucas's rating of the film Small Deaths

This short reminds me of Catherine Breillat's early movies without its feminist approaches.
