Although it's hard not to miss the free-wheeling, anarchic flair of "Wayne's World," Mike Myers makes a fairly natural transition into romantic comedy leading man territory with this early 90's hit. Myers proves charming and the film makes the most of its San Francisco setting, and even when the script wields exposition like a blunt instrument ("Mom, you know I'm afraid of commitment!"), it's still pretty damn funny.

It's interesting to see the rumblings of pretty much every Mike Myers character / gag appear in this film.
