  1. Karl J. Kipling's rating of the film Song of Love

Well, the music's good at least. But watching this I want to make a movie that would rescue Clara, Robert, and Brahms from a kitsch Hollywood imagining of their lives, the same way I'd like to save poor Mozart from the clutches of Shaffer and Forman

  2. waywardwaters's rating of the film Song of Love

Hyping audiences with breast massaging sentimentality, this Hollywood syphilis makes the greatest composer of all time an inhuman, hypertechnical brute while fellating a historical cumstain, who ended friendships between noble men and drove a man with great potential to an early grave, into a “courageous heroine." Both Clara Wieck and Katherine Hepburn are or were (good fucking riddance), insufferable cunts.
