What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film Soviets Plus Electricity

Reminiscences of a journey to Russia. Putting himself in the place of the kino-eye, Rey films spaces and people as an intrinsic property of the film material, its astonishment and discourse figures, by canceling with wit and wisdom the supposed objectivity of the documentary, which so much formlessness and inanity has brought to contemporary documentary cinema. The third reel is an event in imagination about space.
