Ratings & Reviews

  1. Mathias Palmberg's rating of the film Splinter

The Thing in a gas station? Yes please!!! Very good creature feature where the creature is not shown in full which is a BIG plus. The story, while simple, is highly effective and the actors do good work with their characters. With its lean running time there is virtually no excess here which makes for a real fun ride.

  2. Dogukan4Ever's rating of the film Splinter

  3. Gustavo Razera's rating of the film Splinter

Piss-poor camerawork and an aggravating, cowardly, passive, useless, pussy-whipped, reckless and altogether unlikely nerd protagonist turn this potentially chilling monster movie into an offensive time-waster.

  4. konijns's rating of the film Splinter

  5. dave gunn's rating of the film Splinter

The splinter creature was pretty disgusting and effective, but the fast-paced, jumpy editing is tired and takes away from it. This was an otherwise pretty boring addition to the dying modern America horror genre.

  6. Bert Corten's rating of the film Splinter

A real novel approach to the zombie genre, especially for such a low budget flick. Loved it.

  7. pmarasa's rating of the film Splinter

An R-rated "Twilight Zone" episode or particularly adept Stephen King short story shot and edited to take full advantage of its clickety-ick mechanical effects and fluorescent-glare setting. Tidy and tense without making a fuss.

  8. CEPUNK's rating of the film Splinter

Birth of an interesting new movie monster. I didn't go in expecting much but it really surprised me with its fine acting and scares, actually made me squirm. Who doesn't hate splinters?

  9. gloryofistanbul's rating of the film Splinter

Fresh, new and a bit under the radar but a fine movie
