From the photographs taken by Russell Lee in rural America during the Great Depression, the film builds a narrative of sensations - images and sounds at the service of a strictly formal sensoriality and, thereby, physical, almost palpable. A small exemplary film of how great is the cinema that releases the figurative and narrative conventions and finds the autonomy of its own body, as language and its transmission.
