  • Nathan Goldman's rating of the film Steel

abhorrent in many ways but i am unable to pull my eyes from any movie playing in my line of sight while i am at a bar. if i was reviewing the bar instead of the movie STEEL starring shaquille o'neal i would give it three and a half stars , it was a pretty cool place and i'd go back. probably the closest thing i've experienced to an actual "dive" since i moved to seattle but to be fair i haven't really gone looking

  • Renton47's rating of the film Steel

It would be easy to focus on everything bad about this non-committal hero flick which seems to be so generalised that it begins to resemble the bland junk-yard on-screen. But anyway that would be to overlook the endearing optimism of this screen equivalent of ghetto Batman which swaps the nihilism of those films with an armed-wheelchair shooting missiles at the military-industrial complex.
