Ratings & Reviews

  1. @lina's rating of the film England Is Mine

This film, just as life, in its humdrum sense, is worth avoiding.

  2. Corriel's rating of the film England Is Mine

Average biopic lacking whatever would make it good enough. A better rhythm maybe? Might be worth watching for Steven Morrissey's aficionados. (2.5)

  5. Leif Erikson's rating of the film England Is Mine

Life, in its humdrum sense, is worth avoiding. It's the factory for father, and the kitchen for mother. It's arguments at the dinner table. Missing children on the news. And through it all, a sense that things are slowly falling apart.

  6. Ieva Šukytė's rating of the film England Is Mine

The only good thing about this film is Jack Lowden. Who puts classical music into a film about Morrissey? I mean it's 70s Manchester...

  7. Droog811's rating of the film England Is Mine

3 1/2 stars. The early life of Steven Patrick Morrissey and the events that led up to him meeting Johnny Marr and forming The Smiths. Jack Lowden is quite good as a young Morrissey, sounding almost exactly like him, and Jessica Brown Findlay is excellent as his unique friend, Linder Sterling. Worth catching if Morrissey interests you.
