Our take

Ty Sanga delves into the culture of his native Hawaii with his poetic exploration of the Mü: nocturnal spirits that appear in Hawaiian legends. Set in ancient times, this tale of a woman’s conflict between the mystical and human world makes use of the blue shadows of the night to evocative effect.
