Our take

Reuniting with his Kaspar Hauser star Bruno S., Herzog shot on the fly this warped quest for survival in the land of the free. A fiction shot through with vérité techniques, Stroszek is both darkly comic and soulfully tragic, capped off by an unforgettably maniacal finale.
