This is an important and powerful film that shows how shitty society really is. This film is still relevant today because after all these years we still don't treat each any better and innocent lives are lost due to pride and ignorance. Films don't get more harsher and grittier than this one.
I enjoyed it a lot. It just became one of my favorite films with teenagers. I think it's better than "Kids" - it doesn't have such a simple minded message - but they share the same vein in a way. Can't wait to see more of Penelope Spheeris' films.
