Bram Vroonland's rating of the film Summer of Sam

The Summer of Sam at least has a fitting title. It is a look into the minds of the people of NYC when the serial killer the son of Sam was roaming around. It does so in quite a nice way, providing us with a lot of references to the contemporary pop- and counter culture. Yet the story was so darn predictable... Shame because aesthetically it's a joy to watch.
