Our take

Although one of its lesser-known contestants, Argyris Papadimitropoulos’ cinema is undoubtedly part of the Greek Weird Wave, with its unsettling tales of odd characters. In sharp contract with the idyllic and youthful vibes of summer, middle age is here portrayed in a harsh and dark reality.
