Ratings & Reviews

  1. Yuri La's rating of the film Surplus: Terrorized Into Being Consumers

Delicious audio-visual manipulation with found footage materials. If you dive in the playful sense of editing, it's clear that Surplus is not (really) interested in criticize an issue, but rather returning a rippling artistic propaganda of what we already know, more or less. Rice, beans.. rice 'n' beans!

  2. nejurgi's rating of the film Surplus: Terrorized Into Being Consumers

a bit radical, but worth watching only for the way it's edited

  3. Aurora's rating of the film Surplus: Terrorized Into Being Consumers

    The edition is Incredible.

  4. Clare Tanner's rating of the film Surplus: Terrorized Into Being Consumers

This is a clever and creative documentary questioning whether as individuals, and as a society we are consumed by consumerism. It looks at how culture, identity and well being are affected as a result of buying into this concept and the different parts institutions, governments and political leaders play. It's worth watching and will stay with you when you have.
