Ratings & Reviews

  1. J. O.'s rating of the film Suspect Zero

Merhige's unique style aside, this was a fairly standard thriller without many surprises. The strange, fragmented approach to the material at least made it visually interesting - even if the writing was scattered at best.

  2. sandracine's rating of the film Suspect Zero

A good "what if?" film. I liked the fantastical story; to think that there is a Suspect Zero out there, murdering the innocents, and then to reach it's ending in a somewhat satisfying finale, kept me interested throughout.

  3. Tyler Aikens's rating of the film Suspect Zero

Seemed as though this was a made-for-TV-movie made to ride off Se7en's cult success at the time. Even Suspect Zero's killer seems like a spoof of Kevin Spacey's psycho. Stiff script. Stiff acting. The shock value is half-assed.

  4. PolarisDiB's rating of the film Suspect Zero

The script obviously was written to ride off of Se7en's audience, but Merhige can't help taking the paranormal investigator aspect seriously; playing off of the popular conspiracy theory about psychic CIA operatives, the movie extends it to the FBI. Merhige elevates the script with some interesting headache and psychic input abstract montages but not much saves this generic thriller from itself. --DiB
