Ratings & Reviews

  1. SlinkyLi's rating of the film Tai Chi Zero

300-style effects are a little much. Funny, very cute, creative; the story's not bad either.

  2. Stefan Drees's rating of the film Tai Chi Zero

Had a funny time while watching this movie. It’s a crazy but somewhat original blending of elements from silent movies, animated films and computer games, full of fights choreographed to rock and other music, pop up writings and weird steam punk ideas. Now I really like to see the sequel…

  3. msmichel's rating of the film Tai Chi Zero

Wants to be a hip trend setter bringing martial arts films forward but instead quickly becomes tiresome with its onscreen graphics, jokey credits and kinetic special effects assisted fight choreography. Does deliver in the final reel but frankly the trailer for the next installment looks better than anything on display in zero. Not a total waste by a long shot but nothing special considering its prime festival slots.

  4. Junda Mane's rating of the film Tai Chi Zero

Had so much potential...a shame the end product wasn't as fun or slick as it believed it was. At least Angelababy proved her worth with one of her best performances to date.

  5. Matt Parks's rating of the film Tai Chi Zero

Fung is still stronger graphically than he is narratively, no doubt, but this is kind of, as they used to say, a hoot.
