Oliver Stone United States, 1988

Filipe F. Coutinho's rating of the film Talk Radio

Imbued by a sense of urgency and anchored by a tremendous Eric Bogosian performance, Talk Radio constantly pours salt into the American wound, assaulting a way of living, a social and political narrow mindedness, and the inability to generate original thoughts. There’s a poignant vibrancy to Stone’s film, that raw type of energy of a punk band in its early days. It’s relentless, it’s contagious, it’s necessary.
