I almost laughed once or twice, but the mood was ruined by the mysogeny in the dialogue and in so many of the jokes. I mean, to find a lot of this funny, you have to have attitudes that are decades out of date, be male, and preferably be in the 12-15 age bracket.
My mixed feelings about Seth MacFarlane aside, I found "Ted" to be very, very funny. It's shocking and crude, but that's what you have to expect from the guy. It's a thoroughly amusing piece of broad comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously, even in the more emotional parts.
