Follows three screwed up young people and their equally screwed up parents in the age of CBGB’s, yuppies and the tinderbox of gentrification that exploded into the Tompkins Square Park Riots in New York’s East Village in the 1980s.

First. You know the film is set in the 80s because you could play laser tag in the streets without being shot dead by the police. Second. I wish Pulcini + Berman made a film about gentrification in NY instead of using that as a background. A missed opportunity.
Very cool seeing straightedge and veganism represented in a major film. That aside, this film manages to be very dull despite the interesting '80s NYC backdrop and the onslaught of dramatic plot points.
