Ratings & Reviews

  1. Polyglot's rating of the film Tentacles

  2. Bob's rating of the film Tentacles

It opens in a daring manner and follows with creative attack scenes, suitable music that manages to echo the horror hidden beneath the waves and respectful cast that adds the feel of paranoia and conspiracy. It takes different direction in the middle, in a favor of literal filming of regatta and slowly turns into ecological proclamation that ends silly and out of place in comparison to grittier first half.

  3. ExperimentoFilm's rating of the film Tentacles

The monster made me hungry. Also, the long take and 10-minute sailing montage are highly entertaining.

  4. ergotismus's rating of the film Tentacles

No stars for an actual octopus getting it's arms pulled off by an orca hand puppet.

  5. Jason Callen's rating of the film Tentacles

Cream of the crop JAWS rip-off, which was basically a industry for awhile.

  6. Christopher R. Smith's rating of the film Tentacles

A surprisingly impressive cast is wasted in this cheesy, low-budget Italian rip-off of 'Jaws'. There's a handful of memorable set-pieces and some hokey special effects, but not enough to make this ridiculous dud entertaining. Pretty awesome score by Stelvio Cipriani, though.

  7. Jaspar Lamar Crabb's rating of the film Tentacles

What's more fascinating than the scarcely seen killer octopus is the idea that we're supposed to believe that Shelley Winters & John Huston are brother and sister.

  8. Scout Tafoya's rating of the film Tentacles
