An enigmatic choreography of industriousness and dysfunction, Terrestrial carries us through the arterial flows of transport, into buried subway networks and soaring aerial views, against a backdrop of uniquely human dissonance.

Walter's exercise is sharp and incisive; the titular terrestrial[surface] never directly shown, we see the below (subterranean),the above (air-ports) and the digital. Surface is only implied. Everything moves in straight lines,& Walter films in straight lines(a genius shot leaves an iPhone on a moving walkway), until it ends in a shock, halt, fullstop, with real footage of a subway train crashing, breaking(pattern).
