The camera follows closely on the heels of two brothers – one gay, the other straight. Both are looking for a job in order to survive. But both are also looking for themselves and long to find a foothold in life.

PC. And through memory run seminal films about contemporary youth, as Zhangke's "Unknown Pleasures" or Hsiao-hsien's "Millenium Mambo" including Kar-wai's urban flashes of which this film is a heir but much less valorous.
I totally got caught by this film. It focuses on the current young generation that tries to find its place in a society which doesn't leave them much of a perspective. Poignant, humorous, harsh, poetic... Great performance by the cast, particularly Hong Chi Lee. Beautiful score and cinematography as well. In my view, one of the best Taiwanese films I have seen in the past decade.
1 star for all the hard work. I understand how much effort all the actors, set designers, the whole crew and...the worst and especially the director himself put into this film, but this terrifyingly pretentious trend is not where Taiwanese films are supposed to be heading to.
