Synopsis

Our take

No matter how implausible the plot, Ernst Lubitsch always succeeds in delivering his singular and elegant humor in the most subtle of ways. This may be a minor work by the German master of fine comedy, but you know what they say: a Lubitsch a day keeps the doctor away.
