  3. Joseph Carthey's rating of the film The Apple Incident

In Kunio Katô's animations, dreams and ideas take on a mould of shapes and colours. In "The Apple Incident", the creator produces a visual allegory for the ubiquity of prominent ideology, with a tongue-in-cheek reference to Newton's gravity. Apples fall from the sky, only for human beings to become apples themselves when they eat them, in a world of abstract sound with a topsy-turvy, magnified design.
