Wow. So succesful absurd comedy which fits nice metaphors, funny acting and emotionally scenes in 3 minutes perfectly.

If you're going to see only one 1890s film from the first grandmaster of cinema, make it this one. It is an amazing leap forwards.

I love Mélies's obsession with big faces and space. I just love all they films, are like young tales but much higher intense.
