Pretty good Mafioso vehicle for Henry Silva with a fair size body count. Somewhat by the numbers but with an undertone message of anti-student protest and political collusion. Unfortunately ends with a cliff hanger ending but a second entry never arrived.
Di Leo's masterpiece.
Great side characters and unforgettable dialogues, intense plot and action sequences, and the ruthless, un-killable, anti-hero.
The Italian socio-political background is drawn with firm competence, in a few strokes and with an elegant touch. That is what I liked the most: A vibrant scenario.
Together with Illustrious Corpses, a mile stone in the political-crime genre in Italian cinema.
Some pretty great music (done by the same composer as The Kidnap Syndicate), and some pretty rad cinematography, but not quite as awesome as the Kidnap Syndicate - though certainly a good watch for the genre.
The film's other titles include 'Wipeout!' - I dare say that says it all.
