Got treated to see this movie few weeks ago. It has pretty pictures, tried to squeeze as many local coffee shops/cafés scene as possible (which I appreciate as they includes small charming ones like Kopi Es Tak Kie), but the generic melodrama and anticlimactic ending left me unsatisfied.
Compared to the first one, this sequel has more music, more shooting locations and more drama. Actually, I think the story ends in an anti-climax. The conflict resolution is too easy and abrupt. Nonetheless, the movie has a good vibe about it. The actors played their parts well. After a while not seeing Luna Maya, she stole the show in this movie. She played her character smoothly and effortlessly. 3.5 stars.
