Ratings & Reviews

  1. Nick Schwab's rating of the film The Corruptor

Despite the cast, Chinatown setting, and the elaborate and cool-guy poses, it’s unfairly maligned as a bad HK-action imitation. But, the heavy, if kinetic, plot within the stationary coverage and fast-editing of the shootouts are more street-style Hollywood, as is the mise-en-scene. Its dramatic complication and fun n' fast dialogue also give The Corruptor a 1970s-vibe of the American tough-guy, cop-and-crook flicks.

  2. ElTigreNegro's rating of the film The Corruptor

Dull hollywood attempt to replicate Hong Kong crime thrillers.
