Four hot witches take revenge on the world (for a while). It is a decent written story that at least tries to think about consequences when tampering with black magic. The actresses are likeable as well. Some overdramatic "scare" moments, dated effects and lapses in logic is weaknesses of the film.
By virtue of its time, it runs into some problems matching music and tone (the slow, acoustic guitar songs are unforgivable), and the characters are generally pretty broad (though FaIruza Balk gives everything to her role), but if you're down for some witchcraft, and feminine teenage collectivism gone awry, then you'll probably enjoy this one.
It stands out from every other pre 2000's teen film in my opinion. The cgi is laughable and some of the lines are so bad but oh my god.. It's such a fun and knowingly silly movie that explores the themes of teenage angst, jealousy and abuse of power. There's a reason it's considered a cult classic
