Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film The Dark Corner

  2. Hugo Poderoso's rating of the film The Dark Corner

  3. SpacePirate's rating of the film The Dark Corner

A solid noir, but nothing Earth shattering here. Bendix plays his typical noir character, while Webb essentially reprises his Waldo role in Laura. A bit too by the numbers for me, but theres worse ways to spend 90 mins. 3 stars

  4. L'immoralistee's rating of the film The Dark Corner

  5. Log Lady's rating of the film The Dark Corner

Lucille ball is fantastic in this and the cinematography pleasing to the eye, but I didn't much care for the story.

  6. Dave's rating of the film The Dark Corner

An overlooked Henry Hathaway noir, which is easy to do when you consider how many good-to-great noirs the man directed in his career (just look at his entire body of work). Lucille Ball is fantastic, as is the rest of the cast, really.

  7. Daniel S.'s rating of the film The Dark Corner

In my opinion, not the best Film Noir directed by Henry Hathaway. Recommended though because of William Bendix’s performance, the clash between social classes and Joseph MacDonald’s photography.
