Ratings & Reviews

  1. Bonnet Michel's rating of the film The Delay

  2. Matt Richards's rating of the film The Delay

Absolutely beautifully shot portrait of the onset of dementia and the pressures of family obligation. The performances are realistic, relaxed and layered with complexity. I would have liked a little more in terms of plot and it's play on the lead characters arc in order to elevate this story from good to great. 3 stars

  3. Carlos Filipe Freitas's rating of the film The Delay

Slow, meticulous, and emotionally strong, dealing with problems of conscience and social gaps in a modern society, in a very realistic way. Full Review and Rating: http://alwayswatchgoodmovies.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-delay-2012.html

  4. Jugu Abraham's rating of the film The Delay

One of my top 10 films of 2012, it offers many parallels to Haneke's "Amour" and yet the two films are distinctly different. My full review is up at http://moviessansfrontiers.blogspot.in/2013/02/140-uruguayan-director-rodrigo-plas-la.html Uruguay should be proud of this work. I am surprised this movie did not make the Oscar's foreign film shortlists, when it was Uruguay's official entry and won awards elsewhere.
