Ratings & Reviews

  1. Vincent T's rating of the film The Delta

against a historical backdrop - bodies: intertexturing, separating, moving toward, continually searching, keeping distance, interlocking, shielding... The souls imitate. A betrayal, but of neither "body and soul".

  2. José Neves's rating of the film The Delta

This could be the indie north-american answer to Patrice Chereau's masterpiece, "L'Homme Blessé". Since the beautiful first sequence, this is an engaging movie, made of realistic image and sound, ambiguity and ambivalence. Unforgettable, much more if we consider the subsequent Ira Sachs career, very deceptive, including the overrated “Keep the Lights On”, too much cliché, which this is completely not.
